I am honestly shocked.

After all the journal entries I have read here on DA I decided to start this account over. I erased everything that was not 100% me (ie. my guild war screenies) anything that could possibly be considered a traced base either by me or someone else. I wanted my work to stand on its own and I wanted to gain the respect of those I admire. So I created the one and only piece you see in my gallery. And what happens?........someone notes me and lectures me about tracing bases.

I am stunned.........

It isn't traced. I spent alot of time with my fiancee going over the piece and tweaking it since he is an art student and I am not. He is teaching me about gestures and we sit in barnes and noble drawing people so I can learn.

I try to become honest about my art for the first time. I don't want to hide behind tricks and traced things. I want MY ART our there and I want most of to LEARN.

This just takes the wind out of me!

I will not be posting the name of the person...I don't want it to be about her or him and drama.
